Indigo Roots Band: Progressive Bluegrass from Middle Tennessee
Rich harmonies, inventive covers and a growing following — meet the band behind the studio.
Indigo Roots Band is a bluegrass ensemble known for a blend of traditional and contemporary sounds. Led by lead singer Victoria Kelley, the band pairs soulful vocals with intricate harmonies and masterful playing — and brings infectious energy to every stage, whether it’s a classic standard or an original.
Their repertoire shows real range. They’re known for creative covers, including a memorable take on Randy Travis’s “I Told You So,” recorded right here at Octopus Garden Studio. Their originals connect with old‑school bluegrass fans and new listeners alike — bridging tradition and innovation is a big part of their appeal.
